The Big Lebowski 2: Inherent Vice

Welcome to the I Hate Critics Movie Review Podcast. This week there is only one new movie so we take a look back and celebrate the great movies of 2014.

This week “Taken 3” came out. At some point I mention that I’m pretty sure I could take Liam Neeson and that’s my biggest problem with the “Taken” movies. But what I’m excited to talk about is “Selma” and “Inherent Vice.” Two of the best movies of the year got wide releases this week. I also finally saw “Boyhood.”

The “Golden Globes” were this week, but we recorded before the show, so you’ll get our take next week.

Our Undisputed Classic is “Annie Hall.” My biggest problem with Woody Allen movies prior to seeing them is that I don’t by Woody Allen being with these beautiful women, but once you watch these movies you never question it for a second. “Annie Hall” has been remade so many times since it’s come out that it’s impossible to appreciate what it was when it first came out. But it’s a great movie and very easy to watch.
